You are a federal law enforcement officer testifying at an important trial. Your alarm fails to go off, and you are speeding to reach the courtroom when you are pulled over by the state highway patrol. The state officer does not care about who you are or why you are speeding and is exceptionally slow in processing your ticket. You know that the judge in whose courtroom you are testifying is extremely impatient with people who are late or who fail to show up to testify. After waiting about 20 minutes, you start your car and leave. Answer the following questions:
